Wishing everyone a Happy Christmas. I didn't realise how busy this year had been until I sat down to write this newsletter. I have completed the renovations on my home. This included remodelling the bathroom, adding new car accommodation with great storage cupboards and a new larger deck. My house can't be missed now.

Christmas 2008
Wishing everyone a Happy Christmas. I didn't realise how busy this year had been until I sat down to write this newsletter. I have completed the renovations on my home. This included remodelling the bathroom, adding new car accommodation with great storage cupboards and a new larger deck. My house can't be missed now.
Work
I am still working at Central Office but I have changed roles. I am the Principal Project Officer for the Literacy and Numeracy training and support materials for foster parents. I am enjoying being able to be a little more creative. This will keep me busy for the next 2 years.
Family

Ann and Steve are expecting an addition to their family in 2009. I enjoyed attending school musical performances this year. Harvey has shot up and is a real thinker. Olive just adores Harvey and copies everything he does. It is great to see them playing together. It was lovely to have all of the kids watch me at my first mini triathlon.
Sport

This year I began personal training and have enjoyed the challenge. It is expensive...not just the sessions but the cost of the clothes when you lose weight! This year I completed the Gold Coast Half Marathon. I also did a few 10km runs, including the Bridge to Brisbane with Dad. This summer I am doing a series of mini triathlons.
Loop camp
I directed SU Loop Camp for our local area. I lost my voice the Sunday before camp. It was great to have a group of leaders who could keep the show on the road while I was not at my best. I learnt some valuable lessons this camp. I have also continued to be involved in the Upper Mount Gravatt Chaplaincy Committee.
That is all for this year.
